How the Team has So Much Experience

In solar it's a matter of Applied Darwinism- adapt to changing conditions or die. Utility incentive programs, pricing, equipment availability. Our President Mark Simmons worked with leading installer Vibrant Solar during the local boom from 2007-2010, where he and his team developed 320 projects. He then worked for a German solar group which has 17,000 projects under their belts. Returning to local work, Mark founded Solar Marketing & Sales LLC in April 2012. Mark has been involved with >520 projects, including the Town of Breckinridge, Denver Botanic Gardens, Red Robin Restaurants, Oppenheimer Funds in Centennial and First National Bank in Boulder. SMS filed a dba in Colorado as Energy Experts Colorado in Fall 2012. We are accredited by the Denver-Boulder Better Business Bureau and members of COSEIA, the Colorado Solar Energy Industry Association.

In December 2013 CEE completed a 120kW installation at Community Financial Credit Union in Broomfield, CO. In January 2014, in partnership with Crown Battery of Ohio, CEE launched the new Grid Backup solar PV systems.

Our Designer Stephen Bures has done designs on nearly every project mentioned above, plus has installed over 100 off grid systems. Stephen has designed our Hawaii and Colombia systems as well. He is a certified LEED AP and has NABCEP certification.

Energy Saving Technologies Group, Inc. has improved energy efficiency in > 2,000 homes, businesses and municipals in Colorado.

Our solar thermal partner Capitol Solar has been building state of the art hot water and hot water heating systems since 1982.

Energy Geeks has audited over 2,300 homes and installed energy efficiency steps on 600.
